Legal Information | Privacy Notice | Privacy (Website)

The pages on the website (“the website”) are published by Combell nv(“us” or “we”) on behalf of the International Dual Career Network association (hereafter IDCN).

We respect your privacy and value the relationship we have with you. This Privacy Notice describes the types of personal information we may collect on this Web site, how we may use that information, and with whom we may share it.

When you visit our website, our web server collects some basic information such as your internet IP address, which pages you accessed on our site, and when.

You may choose to communicate with us through our “Contact” page. We ask for your e-mail address and name in order to reply to your message.

Privacy (Personal Data – Partner)

By generating a membership request and profile you provide personal data.

1. What kind of data will be processed?

The data you submit via the recruitment platform includes your name, contact details, qualifications, information about your previous employment, and interests you have that you think may be relevant for us. The data you submit, and the data that IDCN members and their affiliates (referred to as “Potential Employers”) create relating to you, are referred to in this notice collectively as “data about you”.

2. What will data about me be used for?

2.1  The data you submit to the platform will be used to assess qualifications and personal experience to determine if they meet specific requirements of jobs at any of the Potential Employers. For details of the IDCN members and their affiliates, including the countries in which they are established, see the links to the corporate sites (the “Member Corporate Sites”) listed at www.idcn.info, then follow the information on members of each corporate group as relevant.

2.2 If your application is successful and you are employed by a Potential Employer, data about you will be used to administer your employment relationship, and to continue to consider offering you interesting working opportunities.

2.3 If you ask us to avoid contacting you in the future, we will put your name and contact details into a dedicated database that will enable us to respect your wishes.

2.4 Data about you may also be used to support and enhance the service.

3. Who will have access to data about me?

3.1 When you upload data about you, you provide it to all Potential Employers, each of which may process it for its own recruitment purposes. This will be so even where you respond to a job posting that mentions a particular Potential Employer. They may also refer other Potential Employers to data about you, together with their assessment of it. Such sharing of data between Potential Employers allows us to find job offerings that may interest you. Each Potential Employer is a controller within the meaning of data protection laws. They include: (1) International Dual Career Network Association (address: Avenue Nestlé 55, Vevey, 1800 Switzerland); (2) the company mentioned in a job posting to which you may respond; and (3) any other IDCN member or their affiliates with access to the central recruitment database. If you do not want data about you to be shared between the various Potential Employers (and their service providers as described in the next paragraph), please do not submit your profile with us.

3.2 The assessments will be performed by personnel who are responsible for recruitment-specific and human resources information. Relevant technical support personnel may also have access to the data as described above. Data about you will be accessible by those personnel, but by no one else.

3.3 The Potential Employers engage service providers to support in the recruitment process, including (to the extent permitted by law) for background checking and psychometric profiling purposes, as well as to support the technical processing of the data. The service providers that the Potential Employers currently use can be found on the respective Member Corporate Sites (as described in paragraph 2.1 above). There are organisational and technical measures in place to protect data about you and to monitor the service providers.

4. How can I access data about me? What are my rights?

You can access the data you submitted to the platform and update or correct it yourself, or deactivate your account, online at any time. You can also request the correction of any inaccurate personal data, or the deactivation of your account, by contacting your local Membership Team via the email addresses found on www.idcn.info. If your country has a data protection authority, you have the right to complain to that authority. Finally, you also have the right to seek judicial remedy.

5. Where will data about me be processed?

5.1 The Potential Employers and their service providers may process data about you in countries other than your country of residence and, even if you apply for a specific job, in countries other than the country in which that job is based. This may include territories outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland (such as Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE and the USA) which may not have data protection laws equivalent to those of territories inside the European Economic Area and Switzerland.

5.2 Data about you will be treated in compliance with the data protection laws and regulations of the country(-ies) of the relevant controller. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data and keep it secure, even when processing it internationally, and we comply with data retention requirements.

5.3 Data about you will be placed in a database with a processing company where, save as mentioned in this paragraph, it will be kept for up to 12 months after the date on which you last logged into the recruitment platform. If your application is successful and you are employed by a Potential Employer, that employer will, separately, collect, store and process data about for a longer period as necessary to administer your employment relationship, and to continue to consider offering you interesting working opportunities. Similarly, we may also keep data about you for longer if you apply for certain types of jobs and this is allowed or required in the country where that job is based.
