IDCN in Luxembourg was launched in May 2018 to support multinational and local companies to provide dual career support to their employees’ spouses and partners.

This is a success story, like many we hear when you relocate, but it can actually happen to anyone who strives to integrate better in a foreign country. Recently arrived in Luxembourg in 2018, I participated in a networking event at Arcelor Mittal where Shivani's words inspired me to volunteer for IDCN. At that time, I did not know that this decision would be critical to better integrate in Luxembourg. I was the first events team leader of the IDCN Luxembourg, and had the pleasure of working with great people, both IDCN volunteers and corporate members for 1 year. This not only facilitated my integration into the job market, but also gave me a good professional network and great friends. Knowing that several professionals of excellence were in the same situation as I was, looking for a job in a challenging market and supporting each other, made everything easier. I got my first job in Luxembourg after being referenced by an IDCN friend and this gave me confidence and experience to get a great job at a global company.
